- 까만 머리 둘

 

참새가 방앗간을 향한다

알찬 알곡들의 유혹에 못이겨

언제 그랬냐는 듯 그냥 곡간을 지난다

쌀 보리의 고소함이 까맣게 사그러져 함께 나른다

 

시를 쓰고픈 마음이 목까지 잠긴다

펜을 잡았는데

무얼 써야 할까? 굳이 떠오름이 없다

머리속 단어들이 까맣게 엉켜지고 만다

 

참새가 힐난한다

글쟁이 단어장이 왜 그렇게 까맣치?

그래.

아까 방앗간 곡간도 까맣던데!

 

- Two of us empty-headed

 

A sparrow heads for the threshing mill

Tempted by the whole grain

It flies by the garner blankly

The sweet rice and barley, compromised in the dark

 

A poem bottles up lingering into void

What should I write about? Nothing much on

My fingers to a deadlock

The entangled words are coy in my head

 

The sparrow teases me in fun

"Your word book is so inky blackness"

"Sure.

So is yours too, bleak and obsolete"
