The road into oblivion

The dead end

Tailed at the cove of the main drag

Embedded shyly

Not different but indifferent in facade

With parked cars and houses all along

where opens up a new day in the same piece of sunlight

Trials and tribulations facing equally from the worldly climate

The total motionless I’ve witnessed

Not a shade of living trace

Never!

For the last three decades or so

That is incredulous

The Glen

The name says it all

The haven of the retirees

Who mould daily life accompanied by stilly quietness

Shut behind the hidden wall, I reckon

Is it because they’ve languished?

After draining their youth and energy throughout the lifespan,

Is it the beginning of their hide and seek game in virtual reality?

How silent can the living quarter be as the effects of desertion?

Although, it is the shelter for their twilight life

The dead air in that impasse could be stirred up even once

Out of a clear blue sky

While the veiled practices to advance on their inner journey

When will it be broken or not at all?
